In the first quarter of 2023, the top five hybridcasual games on the Android platform in Qatar exhibited diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and active user metrics. Here's a closer look at their performance:
1945 Air Force: Airplane games from 1SOFT saw a dramatic decrease in weekly revenue, starting at $2.7K in late December 2022 and falling to just $259 by the end of March 2023. Weekly downloads for the game remained fairly steady, hovering around 1.4K to 2.4K. Active users showed a slight decline from 11.1K at the end of December to around 8.8K by the end of March.
Soccer Superstar by Real Freestyle Soccer experienced a significant drop in weekly downloads, from 7.4K in late December to around 1K by the end of March. Active users also declined from 21.6K to approximately 10.7K over the same period.
Bazooka Boy from Supersonic Studios LTD had fluctuating weekly downloads, starting at 643 and rising to 1.6K by the end of March. Active users increased from 1.9K in late December to 3.8K by the end of the quarter. Revenue remained negligible throughout the period.
Race Master 3D - Car Racing by SayGames Ltd saw a steady decline in weekly downloads, from 2.1K in late December to 1.3K by the end of March. Active users also showed a downward trend, from 8.8K to about 7.5K. Revenue saw minor fluctuations, peaking at $134 in late February.
Finally, Temple Run from Imangi Studios had relatively stable weekly downloads, starting at 1.1K and dropping to 524 by the end of March. Active users remained consistent, from 7.3K in late December to 6.6K by the end of the quarter, with minimal revenue recorded.
