In the first quarter of 2023, the top 5 Maps and Navigation apps on the Android platform in Uruguay showed varying performance trends in terms of downloads, active users, and revenue. Here’s an overview based on Sensor Tower data.
Waze Navigation & Live Traffic Weekly downloads for Waze fluctuated between 2.8K and 4.4K. The app saw a significant rise in mid-January, peaking at 4.4K downloads in the week of January 16. Weekly active users started at 42.6K at the end of December and saw a slight decline, ending the quarter at 38.8K.
Moovit: Bus & Train Schedules Moovit experienced a steady increase in weekly revenue, reaching approximately $33 by the end of February. Downloads increased consistently, starting at 2.5K in early January and peaking at 4.4K in the week of March 6. Active users grew significantly, beginning at 60.3K and ending the quarter at nearly 100K.
STM Montevideo STM Montevideo's weekly downloads varied from 1.3K to 2.8K, with a notable peak in early March. The app's active users showed a slight increase, starting at 22.9K and peaking at 26.9K in the first week of March before ending the quarter at 22.9K.
Radarbot Speed Camera Detector Radarbot's weekly revenue showed fluctuations, peaking at around $182 at the end of December and seeing another high of $163 in mid-March. Downloads were relatively stable, ranging from 1.4K to 2.4K, with a peak in mid-January. Active users increased from 3.8K to 3.9K in early March.
Uber - Request a ride Uber's weekly downloads ranged from 1.4K to 3.1K, with a noticeable dip in mid-January. Active users started at 70.3K and peaked at 78.6K in mid-February before ending the quarter at 74.3K.
