In the first quarter of 2023, the top 5 MMORPG applications on the Android platform in the United States saw some impressive performance metrics. Here's a closer look at the trends for each app, based on data from Sensor Tower.
The Legend of Neverland experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $107K in mid-March. Weekly downloads showed a gradual decline from 22K at the end of December to approximately 10K by the end of March. Active users saw fluctuations, starting at 65K and ending at approximately 56K.
Diablo Immortal from Blizzard Entertainment showed strong weekly revenue, reaching its highest point at $626K in mid-January. Weekly downloads fluctuated slightly, starting at 17K at the end of December and ending around 13K in late March. The app maintained a steady number of active users, with minor variations, averaging around 80K to 90K throughout the quarter.
Oath of peak: Open world saw a steady rise in weekly revenue, peaking at $12.9K at the end of March. Weekly downloads were highest in early February at 13.9K but saw a decline to about 4K by the end of the quarter.
Slime Quest had relatively modest weekly revenue, with its highest point being $1K in late March. Weekly downloads saw a drop from 9K at the end of December to around 3.5K in early March, before rising back to 5.7K by the end of the quarter. Active users showed a steady increase, starting at 23K and reaching 31K by late March.
Albion Online from Sandbox Interactive GmbH had its peak weekly revenue at $22K in the final week of March. Weekly downloads saw a gradual increase, starting at 4.2K at the end of December and reaching 7.3K by the end of March. Active users also showed growth, starting at 4.3K and reaching 7.4K by the end of the quarter.
