Top 5 MOBA Apps on Android in Nigeria, Q1 2023

The first quarter of 2023 has been an interesting period for MOBA (Multiplayer Online Battle Arena) applications on the Android platform in Nigeria. Based on data from Sensor Tower, we can observe the performance trends of the top 5 MOBA apps: Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, Pokémon UNITE, Brawl Stars, Arena of Valor, and Heroes Strike Offline - MOBA &.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, published by Moonton, showed a downward trend in both weekly downloads and revenue. Weekly downloads started at 1.1K at the end of December 2022 and declined to 365 by the end of March 2023. Weekly revenue also saw a decrease from $803 to $307 over the same period. On the other hand, weekly active users showed some fluctuations but ended the quarter relatively stable, decreasing from 17.1K to 15.5K.

Heroes Strike Offline - MOBA &, by Wolffun Pte Ltd, saw an increase in weekly downloads towards the end of the quarter, growing from 15 to 102. Weekly active users also showed a positive trend, rising from 97 to 161.
