In the first quarter of 2023, the top 5 shopping apps on the Android platform in Spain showcased varying trends in terms of weekly downloads, active users, and revenue. Here’s a closer look at their performance:
Miravia: Online shopping app experienced significant growth in weekly downloads, starting from 50.8K in late December 2022 and peaking at 170.8K by the end of January. The app saw fluctuations throughout the quarter, ending with 57.4K downloads in the last week of March. Active users also increased steadily, beginning at 74K and rising to a high of 370.8K in late March.
SHEIN-Shopping Online maintained a strong presence with weekly downloads peaking at 146.8K in early January and gradually decreasing to 66.2K by the end of March. The app's active users started at 1.29M in late December and grew to 1.57M by the end of the quarter.
Amazon Shopping showed a consistent pattern in weekly downloads, beginning with 73.2K in late December and tapering off to 27.2K by the end of March. Active users started at 2.89M and saw slight fluctuations, ending the quarter with approximately 2.5M users. Revenue remained minimal, with occasional small peaks.
Lidl Plus saw a gradual increase in weekly downloads, starting from 14.2K in late December and peaking at 48.2K by the end of January. The app ended the quarter with 26.9K downloads. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 848.5K and ending at 978.7K.
AliExpress had a steady performance in weekly downloads, with numbers starting at 26.3K in late December and peaking at 47.9K in mid-March. Active users saw a slight increase from 1.01M to 1.25M during the same period.
