During the first quarter of 2023, the top boat games in the United States saw varying performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at how the leading titles fared over this period. All data is sourced from Sensor Tower.
My City : Boat Adventures from My Town Games LTD witnessed a remarkable surge in weekly downloads, starting with a modest 82 downloads in the last week of December 2022, skyrocketing to 32K by early February. This surge was mirrored in weekly active users, climbing from 348 to a peak of 29K by the end of March. The weekly revenue displayed fluctuations, peaking at $24 in the last week of March.
Port City: Ship Simulator by Pixel Federation Games maintained a steady revenue stream throughout the quarter, with notable peaks reaching approximately $26K in mid-March. Weekly downloads showed a consistent pattern, peaking at 10.7K in late February. Active user numbers remained robust, averaging around 15K to 20K throughout the period.
Flippy Race from Ketchapp experienced stable weekly downloads, ranging between 4.9K and 11.3K. The app’s weekly revenue saw a decline from $1K at the end of December 2022 to around $464 by the end of March. Active users remained consistent, hovering around 37K to 49K throughout the quarter.
Battle of Warships: Naval Wars by Dumitru Muset showed varied performance. Weekly revenue fluctuated, peaking at $5.1K in late December 2022 before dropping to approximately $2.8K by the end of March. Downloads saw a significant decline, dropping from 4K in mid-January to negligible numbers by March. Active users also decreased from 14K in January to 8.4K by the end of March.
Boat Racing Game:Driving games from Monster Games Productions exhibited a substantial increase in weekly downloads, starting at 431 in late December 2022 and surging to 14.7K by the end of March. Active users followed a similar trend, rising from 157 to 14.6K over the same period. Revenue, however, remained relatively low, peaking at around $72 in late December 2022 and dropping to around $4 by the end of March.
