In the first quarter of 2023, the performance of top entertainment mascot games in Ukraine showcased interesting trends in downloads, revenue, and active users.
Angry Birds Dream Blast from Rovio Entertainment Oyj experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $2.5K in the final week of March. Weekly downloads saw a significant rise early in the quarter, reaching 11.7K in the week of January 16, before dropping to around 8K by the end of March. Weekly active users showed a consistent upward trend, culminating at 50.1K in the week of March 20.
MY LITTLE PONY: MAGIC PRINCESS by Gameloft saw its weekly revenue fluctuate throughout the quarter, reaching a high of $371 in early February and ending at $298 in the last week of March. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, with a peak of 3.4K in the final week of March. Active users for the game maintained a steady presence, peaking at 32.7K in the last week of January.
Angry Birds Blast, also from Rovio Entertainment Oyj, had lower weekly revenue compared to other games, with a peak of $188 in the first week of March. The game saw minimal weekly downloads, never exceeding 237 throughout the quarter. Active users peaked at 286 in late December, gradually declining to 110 by the end of March.
SpongeBob SquarePants from HandyGames experienced modest weekly revenue, peaking at $205 in mid-February. The game’s weekly downloads were minimal, highest at 56 in mid-January, and active user data was not available.
Lastly, Sonic Runners Adventure by Gameloft had a consistent weekly revenue trend, peaking at $125 in early February. Weekly downloads remained low, with a peak of 113 in the first week of January. Active user data was not available for this game as well.
