Top 5 Navigation Apps in Chile for Q1 2023

In the first quarter of 2023, the top 5 navigation apps in Chile showed varied performance in terms of downloads and active users. Here’s a breakdown based on data from Sensor Tower.

Google Maps experienced a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads. Starting the quarter with around 12K downloads, it peaked at 24K in the week of February 27, before dropping to approximately 13K by the end of March. The app maintained a relatively stable number of weekly active users, hovering around 1M throughout the quarter.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic saw its weekly downloads range between 21K and 32K. The highest number was recorded in the week of January 30 with 32K downloads, while the lowest was around 21K in mid-March. The app's weekly active users showed a slight decline, starting from 888K and ending the quarter at 811K.

Moovit: All Transit Options demonstrated a positive trend in weekly revenue, starting with $230 and peaking at $454 in mid-March. Downloads for Moovit saw significant growth, beginning the quarter at 10K and reaching up to 24K in late February. Active users also increased, starting from 165K and peaking at 205K in the last week of February.

Red Movilidad showed a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting from 9K at the beginning of the quarter and rising to 19K by the end of March. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, growing from 81K to 105K over the same period.

Balance: For your Bip! card had a significant spike in downloads in the last week of March, jumping from 193 to approximately 12.8K.
