Throughout the first quarter of 2023, the top 5 shopping apps in Lebanon showed varied performance metrics in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Here's a detailed look at how each app fared.
Alibaba.com saw a notable fluctuation in weekly downloads, starting at around 14.5K in late December and peaking at approximately 21.3K in mid-January. By the end of March, downloads had decreased to about 13.6K. The app's weekly active users remained relatively stable, starting at 248K and peaking at around 278K in mid-March before settling at 259K by the end of the quarter.
SHEIN - Shopping Online experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, starting at about 12.4K in late December and reaching a high of approximately 16.9K in mid-March. Active users also saw an upward trend, beginning at 182K and peaking at around 220K in early March, maintaining this level through the end of the quarter.
Ishtari showed a consistent rise in weekly downloads, starting from 3.1K in late December and peaking at approximately 5.3K in late February. However, downloads dipped to around 2.9K by the end of March. Active users followed a similar trend, beginning at 8.4K and peaking at about 9.4K in late February before declining to 7K by the end of the quarter.
AliExpress - Shopping App had a modest increase in weekly downloads, starting at 2K in late December and peaking at around 3.3K in mid-March. The app's active users showed a slight upward trend, starting at 118K and peaking at approximately 123K in mid-March, before dropping to 110K by the end of March.
Azadea | High Street Fashion experienced a significant drop in weekly downloads from 4.6K in early January to around 1K by the end of March. Unfortunately, there was no active user data available for this period.
