In the first quarter of 2023, the top travel applications in Estonia showed varying performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and activity. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, highlights the dynamics of these apps on a unified platform.
Bolt: Request a Ride, developed by BOLT TECHNOLOGY OU, demonstrated a consistent download rate throughout the quarter. Starting with 1.4K downloads in the last week of December, the app experienced a slight dip in January, fluctuating around 1.1K. February saw a modest increase, peaking at 1.6K in mid-March before stabilizing at around 1.2K by the end of the quarter.
Booking.com: Hotels & Travel from Booking.com maintained a steady download rate with minor fluctuations. Downloads ranged from 764 in late December to a high of 1.1K in mid-March. Despite the ups and downs, the app consistently hovered around the 900 mark for most of the quarter.
airBaltic, published by AIR BALTIC CORPORATION AS, saw a significant spike in early January with over 3K downloads. Following this peak, the app's downloads stabilized to an average of around 400-500 weekly downloads, indicating a strong start to the year.
Forus – Ride, send & rent by Forus Taxi OU showed a more volatile download trend. Starting at 897 downloads in late December, the app peaked at 1.1K in late January but saw a decline towards the end of the quarter, dropping to around 330 downloads in late March.
Ryanair, developed by Ryanair Ltd., exhibited a stable download rate throughout Q1 2023. Weekly downloads ranged from 326 in late December to a peak of 571 in late February, averaging around 500 downloads per week.
