In the second quarter of 2023, the top 5 dating apps on the Android platform in Oman experienced a variety of trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance:
Chamet - Live Video Chat from Chamet Team showed a consistent increase in weekly revenue, starting at approximately $5.1K and peaking at around $6.3K in late June. Weekly downloads also saw an upward trajectory, beginning at 828 and reaching 3.2K by mid-June. Active users grew steadily from 6K to 8.7K over the quarter.
MIGO Live-Voice and Video Chat by MIGO LIVE had a more varied performance. The app's weekly revenue fluctuated, starting at $1.3K, dipping to $370, and then stabilizing around $521 by the end of June. Weekly downloads saw a high of 2.3K in mid-April but dropped to around 1.6K by the quarter's end. Active users had a similar trend, peaking at 3.7K in April and settling at 3K by late June.
SUGO:Voice Live Chat Party from IndiaMasterApp experienced moderate shifts. Weekly revenue started at $1.5K, saw a peak of $1.7K in mid-April, and ended at $1.1K. Downloads fluctuated between 1.1K and 2.3K, while active users saw a high of 5.9K in April before gradually decreasing to 4.5K by the end of June.
Dating and Chat - SweetMeet by SweetMeet saw relatively stable performance. The app's weekly revenue was modest, peaking at $72 in early May. Downloads ranged from 491 to 1.6K, with active users fluctuating around 5.9K, peaking at 6.2K in late April.
YoHo: Group Voice Chat Room from YoHo Studio had a mixed quarter. Weekly revenue varied significantly, starting at $1.2K, peaking at $2.2K in early April, and ending at $1.8K. Downloads showed a downward trend, starting at 1K and dropping to 467 by the end of June. Active users saw a slight decline from 3.5K to 3.1K over the quarter.
