In the second quarter of 2023, the top five finance applications on the Android platform in Switzerland exhibited varied performance trends in terms of downloads and active users. Here’s a detailed look at their metrics.
Google Wallet saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, peaking at 3.4K in early May and maintaining this upward trend throughout the quarter. Weekly active users fluctuated slightly but remained around 27K to 30K, ending June with approximately 27.6K users.
one – control over your cards had stable weekly downloads, with a slight increase mid-June, reaching 2.7K. Active users were consistently high, averaging around 51K to 53K, with a peak of 53.2K in the week of June 19.
PostFinance App experienced moderate weekly downloads, ranging from 1.6K to 2.3K, with a notable increase to 2.4K in early June. Active users remained robust, averaging above 110K, and peaked at 117.4K by the end of the quarter.
PostFinance TWINT had consistent weekly downloads, averaging around 1.9K to 2.0K. Active users showed a positive trend, increasing from 63.3K in early April to 68.8K by the end of June.
PayPal - Pay, Send, Save maintained stable weekly downloads, varying between 1.8K and 2.1K. Active users were consistently high, averaging around 120K, and peaked at 130.7K in the last week of June.
