During the second quarter of 2023, the top insurance apps on Android in Ghana showcased varying performance metrics. Here's a closer look at the weekly downloads and trends for these leading applications.
MyStar from Star Assurance Group saw a consistent pattern in its weekly downloads. Starting from 748 downloads in the last week of March, the app experienced fluctuations, peaking at 962 downloads in mid-April, and eventually settling at 580 downloads by the end of June.
The Donewell Life App by Donewell Life Insurance had a more erratic download trend. The app started with 67 downloads in late March, saw a notable increase to 92 downloads in early April, but then dropped significantly, hitting lows of 17-20 downloads in May. A slight resurgence was observed towards the end of June with 47 downloads.
Acacia Health Insurance by Symliq demonstrated a relatively stable download trend. The app began with 55 downloads in late March, dipped to 11 downloads in early May, and then gradually increased, reaching 40 downloads by the end of June.
Tripinsurance:travel insurance from Tripinsurance had a varied download pattern. The app started with 26 downloads in late March, peaked at 64 downloads in mid-April, but subsequently dropped to single digits in May. A recovery was noted in June, with downloads reaching 51 by the end of the month.
Lastly, Apex Health App from Qwerty Ghana Limited maintained a modest download rate throughout the quarter. The app experienced minor fluctuations, starting at 32 downloads in late March, and ending with the same number by the end of June, with occasional peaks and troughs in between.
