In the second quarter of 2023, the top five shopping apps on Android in Egypt showcased varying performance metrics. Here’s a detailed look at their weekly downloads, revenue, and active user trends.
Amazon Shopping experienced a consistent revenue stream, peaking at $123 in the final week of June. Weekly downloads fluctuated, with a high of approximately 91K in the last week of June. Active users increased from around 1.35M in late March to 1.51M by the end of June.
Alibaba.com - B2B marketplace saw a steady rise in weekly downloads, reaching about 91K in the last week of June. Active users remained relatively stable, with a slight dip in mid-April but ending the quarter at approximately 510K.
DeFacto - Clothing & Shopping had significant variations in weekly downloads. The app peaked at around 141K downloads in early April but dropped to about 12K by the end of June. Active users also saw fluctuations, peaking at around 228K in early April and ending the quarter with about 137K.
noon Shopping, Food, Grocery maintained a consistent download rate, with the highest being approximately 52K in late March. Active users peaked at around 738K in late April and remained stable throughout the quarter, ending with around 632K.
Lucky ONE showed a steady increase in weekly downloads, reaching around 44K in the final week of June. Active users also saw a gradual rise throughout the quarter, starting at around 254K in late March and ending at approximately 259K in the last week of June.
