In the second quarter of 2023, Tunisia saw varying trends in the performance of the top 5 entertainment mascot games on a unified platform. Here's a closer look at the weekly downloads, revenue, and active user trends for each game, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Minion Rush: Running game from Gameloft experienced a consistent weekly revenue, peaking at $26 in multiple weeks such as April 10 and June 19. Weekly downloads saw significant fluctuations, with a high of 2.3K in the week of April 17, before dropping to 991 by the end of June. Active users followed a similar pattern, peaking at 4.9K in mid-May and ending the quarter at 3.4K.
Angry Birds Dream Blast by Rovio Entertainment Oyj showed a decline in weekly revenue, starting at $34 in late March and decreasing to $7 by the end of June. Downloads were relatively stable, with a peak of 1.7K in early April and a low of 797 in the final week of June. Active users saw an upward trend, reaching nearly 9.8K in mid-June before slightly declining to 8.5K.
Sonic Dash: Fun Endless Runner from SEGA maintained a steady weekly revenue around $9 to $11. Downloads spiked to 8.5K in mid-April, then fluctuated and settled at 4K by the end of June. The game had a robust active user base, peaking at 67K in mid-April and stabilizing around 54K towards the end of the quarter.
Sonic Jump™, also by SEGA, had minimal revenue, reaching a maximum of $4 in mid-June. There were no recorded downloads or active users throughout the quarter, indicating a lack of engagement.
Sonic The Hedgehog 4™ Ep. II, another SEGA title, showed modest revenue, peaking at $3 in mid-June. Downloads were relatively low but stable, with a peak of 145 in mid-June. Active users saw a gradual increase, reaching 597 by the end of June.
