2026 State of Mobile is Live!

During the second quarter of 2023, the top five fast food and fast casual restaurant apps in Saudi Arabia exhibited varied performance trends in terms of downloads and active users. Here’s a detailed look at the data provided by Sensor Tower.
McDonald’s - Non-US experienced significant growth in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 17K in late March and reaching around 52K by the end of June. Weekly active users showed a steady increase, rising from roughly 471K at the beginning of the quarter to over 518K towards the end.
ALBAIK also saw a positive trend in weekly downloads, beginning with around 12K in late March and peaking at approximately 32K by the end of June. Active users followed a similar pattern, increasing from about 67K to nearly 98K over the same period.
KFC Saudi Arabia showed a consistent pattern in weekly downloads, starting at around 19K in late March and peaking at approximately 36K by early May, before stabilizing around 28K to 29K towards the end of the quarter. Active users grew from roughly 112K to about 123K over the quarter.
Starbucks KSA maintained a steady increase in weekly downloads, beginning with around 14K in late March and reaching approximately 26K in mid-May, before settling around 19K to 22K towards the end of June. Weekly active users increased from about 112K to nearly 134K throughout the quarter.
Al Tazaj - KSA experienced a varied trend in weekly downloads, starting at approximately 7.5K in late March, peaking at around 27.5K in early May, and then stabilizing between 14K to 19K towards the end of June. Active users showed a steady rise from about 36K to around 45K over the same period.
