In the third quarter of 2023, the top shopping applications on the Android platform in France displayed distinctive trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. According to Sensor Tower, here is a detailed look at the performance of the leading apps.
Downloads for Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire started strong at around 237K in late June, experiencing a steady decline to approximately 109K by late August. However, the app saw a resurgence in September, peaking at nearly 126K downloads in the final week. Weekly active users followed a more consistent upward trend, beginning at 804K and gradually increasing to 1.1M by the end of September.
SHEIN-Shopping Online saw a decline in downloads from 139K in late June to around 51K in early September, before recovering to 88K by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users fluctuated slightly but remained robust, starting at 1.4M and ending at 1.4M, demonstrating consistent engagement.
Downloads for Mon E.Leclerc showed variability, with highs of 56K in mid-August and lows of 35K in mid-September. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, starting at 425K and ending at 432K, indicating steady usage throughout the quarter.
Amazon Shopping maintained a consistent download rate, fluctuating between 31K and 44K. Weekly active users exhibited slight fluctuations but overall stability, starting at 2.5M and ending at 2.6M. Revenue trends showed minor peaks with a maximum of $131 in the last week of September.
Carrefour France experienced varied download numbers, peaking at 51K in mid-September and maintaining a range between 21K and 51K throughout the quarter. Weekly active users showed a positive trend, growing from 273K at the end of June to 318K by the end of September.
