Throughout the third quarter of 2023, the performance of the top 5 consumer finance applications on a unified platform in Colombia showed varied trends in downloads and active user metrics, as reported by Sensor Tower.
Nequi Colombia saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 509K at the end of June and culminating in around 622K by the end of September. The app maintained a strong presence in terms of weekly active users, beginning the quarter with about 3.48M and reaching approximately 3.76M by the end of the quarter.
Bancolombia A la Mano experienced a steady download rate, with numbers fluctuating slightly throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads varied from roughly 106K in late June to about 124K by the end of September. Weekly active users showed a slight increase overall, starting at around 1.03M and ending close to 1.04M.
Lulo - Maneja tus finanzas had a more fluctuating download trend, with a significant increase towards the end of the quarter. Downloads started at about 101K in late June, dropped to around 25K in mid-September, and then surged to approximately 63K in the last week of September. Active users also saw fluctuations, beginning at roughly 205K and ending at around 211K.
Davivienda Móvil maintained a relatively stable download rate, with weekly downloads ranging from around 37K to 46K over the quarter. Active user numbers were also consistent, starting at approximately 782K and ending at about 770K.
Lastly, Banco de Bogotá showed a consistent download trend, with weekly downloads fluctuating between 27K and 34K. The app's weekly active users started at approximately 866K and ended at about 862K.
