In the third quarter of 2023, the top five shopping apps in Tunisia, as tracked by Sensor Tower, displayed diverse trends in user engagement and downloads. Here’s a closer look at how these apps performed on a unified platform, combining data from both iOS and Android.
Alibaba.com saw a varied pattern in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 20.7K in mid-July and maintaining a steady range around 18K to 20K throughout the quarter. The app's active user base showed a gradual increase, culminating at around 341K in early September.
Jumia Online Shopping experienced significant fluctuations in weekly downloads, with a high of around 16.7K in late August. Active users for Jumia remained relatively stable, hovering around 120K to 130K over the quarter.
SHEIN - Shopping Online maintained consistent weekly downloads, generally between 8K and 10K, with a notable peak at approximately 10.6K in early September. The app’s active users saw a steady rise, reaching about 78.1K by the end of September.
The AliExpress Shopping App showed a steady increase in weekly downloads, hitting a high of around 8.1K in early August. Active users for AliExpress also grew steadily, peaking at about 61.8K mid-September.
Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire displayed a gradual upward trend in downloads, with a peak of around 3.8K in mid-August. Active users for Temu increased steadily, reaching approximately 10.3K in mid-September.
