As the year 2023 wrapped up, the city building game category continued to entertain and engage users across Latin America on the Android platform. Sensor Tower's data provides us with a glimpse into how these games performed in the fourth quarter.
Isekai:Slow Life saw a peak in downloads at the start of the quarter with 87K, which gradually decreased to 24K by the end of December. Weekly active users started at 60K and rose to close to 80K, indicating a growing and engaged user base. Revenue for the game showed fluctuations with a high of 26K in early October and a low of 15K towards the end of December.
SimCity BuildIt maintained a consistent download rate, with a noteworthy spike to 49K in mid-November. Active users showed a significant increase from 230K to over 300K in mid-October, followed by a slight decline to 272K by the end of the quarter. Revenue trends for SimCity BuildIt were also variable, with a peak of 19K in late November.
The Simpsons™: Tapped Out experienced a steady increase in downloads through the quarter, with a high of 32K in the third week of November. Active users remained mostly consistent, ranging from 217K to 249K. The game's revenue saw a dramatic increase to 21K in the third week of November, followed by a decrease to around 3K by the end of December.
Puzzles & Chaos: Frozen Castle also displayed an upward trend in weekly active users, starting at 46K and reaching 79K by December 25th. Downloads for the game were highest at the beginning of the quarter with 27K and ended at 19K. Revenue for Puzzles & Chaos showed a notable increase from 1.7K to 5.5K in the last week of the quarter.
Lastly, Land of Empires: Immortal had minimal download activity, with only a few downloads recorded throughout the quarter. Weekly active users for Land of Empires remained low, with a decrease from 331 to 45 by the quarter's end. Revenue showed slight variations, peaking at 3K in the third week of October.
