State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!
In Q4 2023, the top five finance apps on the Android platform in Peru demonstrated varied performance in terms of downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at the metrics, as reported by Sensor Tower.
Yape from Banco de Credito del Peru showed impressive weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 514K in early October and closing the quarter at around 196K. The app also maintained a strong user base with active users fluctuating between 3.3M and 3.5M throughout the quarter.
Agora: Ahorra, compra y paga by Agora Servicios Digitales S.A.C. had a notable start with 295K downloads at the beginning of October but saw a decline to around 26K by the end of December. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 610K and ending the quarter at approximately 336K.
Banca Móvil BCP from Banco de Crédito del Perú experienced a fluctuating download rate, with a high of 159K in the first week of October and a low of about 64K in the last week of December. The app’s active users ranged from 1.8M to 1.9M, showing a relatively stable user engagement.
izipayYA (Tunki) by Banco Internacional del Peru had a consistent download performance, peaking at 41K in late November and maintaining around 33K by the end of December. Active users increased steadily from 39K to approximately 51K over the quarter.
CrediSol–Préstamo de crédito showed a promising growth trend in both downloads and active users. Downloads rose from 14K in late September to 27K by the end of December. Active users also increased significantly, starting at 51K and reaching approximately 121K by the end of the quarter.
