In the fourth quarter of 2023, the food delivery landscape in the Netherlands saw varied performances from the top five apps on the Android platform. Data from Sensor Tower provides valuable insights into downloads, weekly active users, and revenue trends.
Picnic Online Supermarket saw a fluctuating download pattern, peaking at 6.2K in late November before dropping to 3.2K by the end of December. Weekly active users for the app ranged from 81K in early October to a high of 89.5K in mid-December, before declining to 73K in the last week of December.
Thuisbezorgd.nl experienced a more stable download trend, with minor fluctuations around 3.6K to 5K throughout the quarter. The app’s weekly active users remained relatively high, peaking at 131K in mid-October and ending the quarter at 118K.
Too Good To Go: End Food Waste had consistent download numbers, reaching a high of 5.3K in late October before settling at around 3K in December. Weekly active users for this app fluctuated between 207K and 264K, with a notable dip to 194K in the last week of December.
Uber Eats: Food Delivery showed a steady download trend, peaking at 4.5K in mid-November, but saw a decline to 2K by the end of December. Weekly active users remained fairly stable, ranging from 77K to 81.5K, but dropped to 65K in the final week of December.
Flink: Groceries in minutes had a relatively low download count, peaking at 2.7K in late October and decreasing to 1.7K by December end. Weekly active users for Flink ranged from 36.7K to 40.7K throughout the quarter, showing a slight decrease towards the end.
