As the final quarter of 2023 has wrapped up, Sensor Tower provides an overview of the top 5 MOBA applications on the Android platform in the United States. This report outlines the performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
Moonton's "Mobile Legends: Bang Bang" saw a fluctuating trend in revenue, peaking at nearly $227K in the week of November 20, but closing the quarter at around $195K. Downloads experienced a significant spike in early November with over 35K new installations, while weekly active users reached a high of approximately 394K in the same period before settling at around 349K by the year's end.
Supercell's "Brawl Stars" demonstrated an impressive revenue growth, ending the quarter with a peak of over $321K. Downloads also peaked in the final week of December with more than 28K. The game maintained a strong player base with weekly active users surpassing 2.1M in mid-December.
Riot Games' "League of Legends: Wild Rift" experienced a steady revenue with a slight uptick in December, reaching nearly $101K in the first week of the month. Downloads showed an upward trend towards the end of the quarter, while weekly active users saw a high of over 96K in mid-November.
"The Pokémon Company's" "Pokémon UNITE" had a varied revenue performance, with the highest revenue reported at $47K in mid-December. The game also observed its highest downloads in early December with over 54K. Active users peaked at over 87K in the last week of December.
"Tanks a Lot - 3v3 Battle Arena," by Highcore Labs LLC, showed modest revenue numbers, finishing the quarter with around $3.5K. The game's downloads peaked at 4.5K at the end of October, and active users reached over 18K in early November, demonstrating consistent engagement.
