As the year 2023 wrapped up, the Simulation/Adventure category on Android devices saw varied performances among its top titles in the United States. Here's a brief overview, with all data provided by Sensor Tower.
PK XD: Fun, friends & games by Afterverse Games experienced a notable increase in revenue from $7K in late September to around $12K by the end of December. Downloads peaked in mid-December at approximately 28K, while weekly active users saw a high of 318K in mid-October and ended the quarter with roughly 306K.
Budge Studios' PAW Patrol Rescue World showed a slight decline in revenue over the quarter, starting at $2.6K and rising back to about $2.5K in the final week. Downloads surged to 25K in the last week of December, with weekly active users growing from 54K to 55K during the quarter.
Jam City's Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery generated significant revenue, starting at $148K and reaching $187K by the end of December. Downloads saw an uptick from 9K to nearly 20K in the same period, while weekly active users were at a high of 151K in late October, ending the quarter at around 144K.
Z & K Games' Scary Teacher 3D had minimal revenue figures, peaking at $458 in the last week of December. The game's downloads climbed to a high of 25K towards the end of the quarter, and the weekly active users increased to approximately 178K in the same timeframe.
Lastly, Granny 3 by DVloper, with no revenue reported, saw downloads rise to 13K and weekly active users reach nearly 39K by the close of Q4.
