In the final quarter of 2023, Brazil's iOS platform saw significant activity in the MMORPG category. Sensor Tower's data provides a glimpse into the performance of the top five apps in this genre, and here's what we found.
MU: Dragon Havoc experienced a fluctuating download trend, starting at around 13K in mid-October and dipping to a mere few hundred in mid-November, before climbing back up to nearly 4K by year's end. The app's revenue showed a steady upward trend, starting at approximately $6K and peaking at over $27K in the last week of December.
Albion Online, published by Sandbox Interactive GmbH, maintained a steady revenue stream with a slight increase from $659 to $923 by the end of December. Downloads for the game peaked at 3.6K in late November, while weekly active users saw a high of 5.2K in the same period.
For Diablo Immortal, revenue was notably high, with an impressive spike to $21K in mid-November and ending the quarter with $15K. Downloads remained relatively stable, and weekly active users showed a slight downward trend from 42K to 35K over the quarter.
The Legend of Neverland saw its revenue peak at $9.5K in the last week of December, a substantial increase from earlier in the quarter. Downloads showed modest weekly figures, with a peak at 2K. The weekly active users count reached a high of 6.2K at the end of December.
Lastly, MU ORIGIN 3 from FingerTips showed a revenue increase from $328 to $924 throughout the quarter. Downloads saw a significant jump in mid-December, reaching over 1K. The app's weekly active users peaked at 5K in mid-December but ended slightly lower at 4.6K.
