In the fourth quarter of 2023, the Real-Time Strategy (RTS) category saw significant user engagement on the iOS platform in the United States. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers a comprehensive look at the top five RTS applications, highlighting their performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Clash Royale, a long-standing favorite by Supercell, exhibited consistent revenue generation throughout the quarter, with notable peaks of approximately $2M in early November and mid-December. Downloads showed an upward trend, with a marked increase to over 87K in the final week of December. Weekly active users started at around 4.46M and peaked at over 5.48M in early November, before ending the quarter with roughly 5.08M users.

Blizzard Entertainment's recent release, Warcraft Rumble, had a strong start post-launch with revenues nearing $1M in its debut week and reaching over $1.3M in the following week. Downloads understandably spiked at over 312K during its launch week but gradually decreased thereafter. Valor Legends: Eternity by Century Games Pte. Ltd. experienced revenue ranging from approximately $54K to $157K. Downloads sharply declined after mid-October, with no new downloads reported from late November onwards. Active users peaked at around 86K in late September and saw a decline to about 20K by the quarter's end.
