As the year 2023 wrapped up, the US iOS market for Solitaire games showed various trends in user engagement and downloads. Here's a look at how the top Solitaire games performed during the fourth quarter, with insights from Sensor Tower.
Solitaire Cash by Papaya Gaming maintained a steady influx of downloads, ranging from 59K to 79K. Weekly active users showed an upward trend, starting at 482K and peaking at 522K by the end of the quarter. Despite having no recorded revenue, the game's user base remained engaged throughout the quarter.
Solitaire Clash: Win Real Cash, with no revenue data available, saw an impressive spike in downloads in late October, hitting 94K, although this trend fluctuated in subsequent weeks. The game's weekly active users increased from 264K to a high of 341K in early November, before stabilizing around 310K towards the end of December.
MobilityWare's Solitaire showed consistent revenue generation throughout the quarter, with earnings ranging from $18K to $24K. The game experienced a significant rise in downloads during December, reaching 59K. Weekly active users exhibited a slight decline from 3.3M to 2.9M over the quarter.
Solitaire: Play Classic Cards by Tripledot Studios, despite not generating revenue, witnessed a notable surge in downloads in October, with a peak at 54K. The weekly active users grew from 99K to 136K, indicating a growing player base.
Lastly, Solitaire - 2024 from Standard Game Limited, which was released just before the quarter began, had a varied performance. Downloads peaked in October at 63K but then experienced a sharp decline, ending at 2.7K in December. The weekly active users followed a similar pattern, peaking at 67K and falling to 35K by the quarter's end.
