In Q4 2023, the top 5 theme park games on the iOS platform in the United States showcased varied performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Here’s an overview of their performance, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Disney Magic Kingdoms by Gameloft saw a rollercoaster of revenue throughout the quarter. Weekly revenue peaked at around $278K in mid-October, before experiencing a decline to approximately $40K in early December. Downloads saw a significant spike in early December, reaching over 10K, while weekly active users fluctuated, peaking at 50K in mid-December before dropping to 42K by the end of the quarter.
RollerCoaster Tycoon® Touch™ from Atari demonstrated relatively stable revenue, with a peak of about $18K in early December. Downloads showed a downward trend from 7.7K in early October to 6K by the end of December. Weekly active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 24K and ending the quarter at roughly 20K.
Idle Theme Park - Tycoon Game by Digital Things maintained consistent revenue, averaging around $15K weekly, with a peak of $15.6K in late November. Downloads saw a decline from 14K in late September to 7.8K by the end of December. Weekly active users also decreased steadily from 99K to 75K over the quarter.
Overcrowded: Tycoon by ZeptoLab UK Limited experienced a notable increase in downloads, peaking at 18K in mid-October, before sliding down to approximately 7K by late December. Revenue hit a high of $16.9K in mid-October and then decreased to around $4.5K by late December. Weekly active users saw a significant rise, reaching 37K in late October, before declining to 15K by the end of the year.
aquapark.io by Voodoo showed strong performance in downloads, peaking at 74K in the last week of December. Revenue remained relatively low but showed an upward trend, moving from $407 in late September to $692 in the last week of December. Weekly active users were impressive, peaking at 413K in the last week of December.
