During the fourth quarter of 2023, the top 5 carpooling and ridesharing apps in Germany showed varied performance metrics across downloads and weekly active users, with data provided by Sensor Tower.
Uber - Request a ride maintained a strong presence with downloads fluctuating between 42K and 61K per week. The highest download peak was observed in the last week of December, reaching approximately 61K. Weekly active users saw a slight decline from around 660K at the beginning of the quarter to approximately 618K by the end.
Bolt: Request a Ride experienced a gradual increase in downloads, starting at 43K in late September and peaking at 42K in the final week of December. Weekly active users, however, showed a slight downtrend, decreasing from 175K to approximately 142K over the quarter.
BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus saw its downloads peak at around 18K in the first week of December, with an overall increasing trend. Weekly active users also increased, reaching a high of approximately 131K in mid-December, up from 113K at the start of the quarter.
Uber - Driver: Drive & Deliver had a consistent download rate, fluctuating between 3.1K and 4.1K per week. Weekly active users showed a slight increase, starting at 41K and ending the quarter at around 42K.
Finally, اسنپ قدیمی - سامانه حمل و نقل exhibited significant growth in downloads, peaking at around 7.4K in mid-November. The app's weekly active users also increased from 15K in late September to approximately 25K by mid-November, before stabilizing around 18K towards the end of the quarter.
