In Q4 2023, the leading dating apps in Turkey demonstrated varied performance trends across downloads, revenue, and weekly active users, according to Sensor Tower data.
Azar - Video chat saw its revenue fluctuate, peaking at around $183K in the week of November 20 and ending the quarter at approximately $155K. Downloads also showed a significant increase, reaching about 75K in mid-November, while weekly active users peaked at around 517K in the same period before stabilizing at roughly 494K by the end of December.
Tinder Dating App: Chat & Date experienced consistent revenue, with a high of about $140K in mid-October and a slight decline to $105K by the last week of December. Downloads remained relatively stable, peaking at approximately 39K in mid-November. Weekly active users saw a slight dip from around 625K to 554K over the quarter.
LivU - Live Video Chat showed steady revenue, peaking at about $129K at the end of October and then decreasing to roughly $101K by the end of December. Downloads were stable, with a notable increase to around 12K in mid-December. Weekly active users remained consistent, averaging around 124K, with a peak of approximately 128K in mid-December.
Chamet - Live Video Chat&Meet had a revenue peak of around $65K in mid-November and ended the quarter at approximately $65K. Downloads increased significantly, reaching about 5.8K in the last week of December. Weekly active users showed a slight increase, peaking at around 120K in mid-October.
Bumble Dating App: Meet & Date had a steady revenue trend, peaking at around $62K in early November and ending the quarter at approximately $47K. Downloads saw a peak of about 12K in mid-November. Weekly active users remained stable around 44K, with a slight decline to approximately 41K by the end of December.
