The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides a comprehensive view of the market dynamics. Here’s a detailed look at the key metrics for each app.
Fitatu Calorie Counter & Diet saw a significant peak in revenue, hitting approximately $66K in the week of November 20, before stabilizing around $29K by the end of December. Downloads peaked at 21.7K in early November but saw a decline towards the end of the quarter, bottoming out at around 10.4K in mid-December. Weekly active users fluctuated, peaking at 192.6K in early November but gradually decreasing to around 130.7K by the end of December.
Diet & Training by Ann had a notable revenue increase reaching about $23.8K in the week of November 20. However, revenue dipped to approximately $7.9K in mid-December before rising again to $14.7K by the end of the month. The app’s downloads showed a similar trend, peaking at 4.2K in late November but decreasing to around 929 in mid-December, before rebounding to 3.9K in the last week of December. Weekly active users rose significantly to approximately 69.6K by the end of December.
Strava: Run, Bike, Hike experienced a gradual decline in revenue, starting at around $15.2K in late September and decreasing to approximately $9K by the end of December. Downloads peaked at 5.7K in late September but saw a steady decline, reaching a low of around 1.8K in early December before a slight increase to 4.2K by the end of the month. Weekly active users showed a downward trend from approximately 98.4K in late September to around 59.5K in early December, followed by a rise to 75.8K by the end of the quarter.
YAZIO Calorie Counter & Diet maintained a relatively stable revenue throughout the quarter, peaking at around $6.7K in late November. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at 3.3K in late October and again at 3.9K in the last week of December. Weekly active users showed a slight decline from approximately 45.3K in late September to around 38.3K in early December, with an increase to 45.2K by the end of the month.
BetterMe: Health Coaching saw consistent revenue, peaking at about $5.5K in mid-November and ending the quarter at around $6.3K in the last week of December. Downloads experienced a significant increase, peaking at 7.5K in the final week of December. Weekly active users spiked to approximately 23.9K by the end of December, following a steady trend throughout the quarter.
