Schwab Mobile experienced a fluctuation in downloads, peaking at 139K in early October and then stabilizing around 53K by the end of December. The app maintained a strong base of weekly active users, ranging from 1.3M to 1.7M throughout the quarter.
Robinhood: Investing for All also showed a consistent download trend with numbers hovering between 51K and 65K. Weekly active users remained high with slight variations, starting the quarter with 4.7M and dipping to around 4.6M by the quarter's end.
Fidelity Investments saw its downloads grow from 47K to 73K by December 25th, indicating a strong finish to the year. The app's weekly active users showed an upward trend, starting at 1.5M and reaching 1.8M in the second half of December.
Empower® had a significant spike in downloads in late October, reaching 114K, which was a standout compared to its typical range of 36K to 75K. Weekly active users for Empower® varied from 208K to 287K, with a general trend of increased engagement towards the end of the quarter.
Lastly, Coinbase: Buy Bitcoin & Ether downloads started at 41K and showed growth, culminating at 78K in the final week of December. This app's weekly active users saw a significant jump in late November to 1.4M, after starting the quarter around 863K.
