In the fourth quarter of 2023, Brazil's e-commerce landscape demonstrated varied trends among the top shopping applications on the unified platform, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Shopee Brasil - Frete Zero saw its downloads peak in mid-November with 1.4M, following a fluctuating pattern that ended with 451K downloads in the final week of December. Weekly active users (WAUs) for Shopee Brasil reached a high of 29M in November, with a slight dip to around 27M by year's end.

Mercado Libre: Compras Online experienced its highest downloads in November at 774K, while downloads tapered off to 415K by the end of December. The app's WAUs showed resilience, peaking at 22M in November before settling at just under 20M in the final week of the quarter.

SHEIN - Shopping Online witnessed a decline in downloads from October's high of 1M to 188K in the last week of December. The trend in WAUs mirrored this decrease, where the initial 18M in late September dropped to approximately 13M by the close of the quarter.

Amazon Shopping presented a remarkable spike in downloads, jumping to over 1M in late October, with a subsequent fall to 193K by Christmas. Revenue for Amazon Shopping showed an upward trend in early December, hitting $52K, and then slightly decreased to $40K by the year's end. WAUs for Amazon Shopping peaked at over 6M in November, maintaining over 5M active users through the end of December.

AliExpress Shopping App downloads saw a steady range between 271K and 137K throughout the quarter. The app's WAUs experienced a spike in early November at over 14M, followed by a gradual decline to nearly 12M towards the quarter's end.
