As we delve into the first quarter of 2024, Sensor Tower brings you an analysis of the top five Android consumer finance applications in the United Kingdom. Let's look at how these apps fared in terms of downloads and weekly active users.

Google Wallet saw a steady increase in downloads over the quarter, starting at 38K in the first week of January and peaking at 63K by the end of March. Weekly active users also showed an impressive growth, beginning the quarter with 904K and surging to a high of 2.5M in late February before slightly dipping to 2.4M by the end of March.

Monzo - Mobile Banking maintained consistent download numbers throughout the quarter, with a slight increase from 24K to around 27K. Weekly active users remained stable, with a slight fluctuation between 1.3M and 1.28M.

Lloyds Bank Mobile Banking experienced a varied download trend, with a peak at 18K in mid-February, while weekly active users saw a slight decrease from 1.26M to 1.24M by the quarter's end.

Barclays UK had its downloads fluctuating, reaching a notable spike of 24K in the second week of March. The app's weekly active users experienced a decline, starting at 1.26M and ending the quarter at around 1.15M.

Lastly, NatWest Mobile Banking showed a steady increase in downloads from 12K to 15K. The weekly active users saw a slight growth, beginning at 1.3M and increasing to 1.31M by the end of March.
