In the first quarter of 2024, the top dating apps on the Android platform in Poland showed varied performance in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at the trends for the top 5 apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Badoo Dating App: Meet & Date saw weekly revenue fluctuate, peaking at around $47K in mid-January and experiencing a dip to approximately $37K in mid-March. Weekly downloads started strong at 13K in the first week of January, then saw a decrease to around 8K in early February, before stabilizing around 10K towards the end of March. The app’s weekly active users also varied, starting from 328K in early January, dipping to 270K in mid-March, and rising back to 289K by the end of the quarter.
Tinder Dating App: Chat & Date maintained a relatively stable weekly revenue, with figures ranging from $57K in early January to approximately $68K by the end of March. Weekly downloads started at 12K, saw a dip to around 8K in late February, and ended the quarter slightly lower at 8K. The app's weekly active users began at 310K, dipped to 275K in mid-March, and closed the quarter at 285K.
OmeTV – Video Chat Alternative experienced modest weekly revenue, peaking at around $3.2K in late February, and fluctuating around $2.4K to $2.9K for the rest of the quarter. Weekly downloads varied, with a high of 7.9K in mid-February and a low of 5.4K in early February. The app's weekly active users started at 31K, dropped to 22K in mid-March, and rose again to 31K by the end of March.
Bumble Dating App: Meet & Date showed growth in weekly revenue, starting at $3.9K in early January and peaking at $5.6K in early March. Weekly downloads saw a significant rise, starting at 1.4K in early January and reaching a peak of 13K in early February before settling around 3.8K towards the end of March. Weekly active users began at 36K, surged to 64K by the end of March, indicating a positive trend.
Yubo: Make new friends had a steady weekly revenue, ranging from $2.2K to $3K throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads fluctuated, peaking at 8.4K in mid-January and ending the quarter at 6.4K. The app's weekly active users remained relatively stable, starting at 6K in early January and maintaining this level, with minor fluctuations, throughout the quarter.
