In the first quarter of 2024, the top 5 dating apps on the Android platform in Portugal have shown varied performance in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at each app's metrics:
Bumble Holding Limited's app experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, ranging from approximately $4.5K to $5.8K. The highest revenue was recorded in the first week of January, while the lowest was in early March. Downloads saw a significant spike in mid-March, reaching around 6K, compared to a lower 1.5K in late January. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 34K to 35K throughout the quarter.
Tinder's weekly revenue exhibited a steady performance, peaking at $15.8K in early February and maintaining around $13K to $14K towards the end of the quarter. Downloads were consistent, with a notable increase to 3.2K in mid-February and a slight decline to approximately 2.1K by the end of March. Active users showed a slight downward trend from 129.5K at the beginning of January to around 122K by the end of March.
Badoo's revenue started strong at nearly $4K in early January but saw a gradual decline to about $2.7K by the end of March. Downloads followed a similar pattern, starting at 3K in the first week and dropping to below 900 in late March. Active users fluctuated, with a peak of 62K in early January and a dip to around 54K in early February, before stabilizing around 59K towards the end of March.
Boo Enterprises, Inc.'s app showed a varied revenue pattern, starting at $736 and peaking at $1K by the end of March. Downloads were highest in late January at 2K and dropped to around 880 in early March. Active users increased from about 4K in early January to 4.6K by the end of the quarter, showing a steady growth trend.
OmeTV, developed by Video Chat Alternative, had a steady revenue stream, peaking at $757 in the first week of January and maintaining around $400 to $700 throughout the quarter. Downloads were consistent, with the highest at 1.6K in early January and a slight drop to 1K by the end of March. Active users showed a slight decline from 10.7K in early January to around 9.6K by the end of March.
