In the first quarter of 2024, the US Android market for drawing and coloring applications saw varied performance among the top contenders. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers a glimpse into the trends of these creative outlets.
Tap Color Pro: Color By Number from Tap Color Studio showed a downward trend in downloads from 35K to 17.75K, with weekly active users decreasing from 164K to 122K. Revenue also displayed a declining pattern, starting at around $18K and dipping to nearly $15K by the end of the quarter.
Cross-Stitch World, by Inertia Software, had a stable revenue trajectory, ranging from about $5.7K to $8.3K, despite showing no new downloads. The weekly active users for the app hovered around the 1K mark throughout the quarter.
The Paint by Number: Coloring Game by Oakever Games experienced a revenue fluctuation between $5.2K and $7.2K, with downloads peaking at 22.1K toward the quarter's end. Weekly active users increased from 296K to 277K, suggesting a growing engagement.
Casual World Studio's Color Fan - Color By Number saw its downloads rise from 28.7K to 24.4K, with weekly active users growing from 193K to 210K. Revenue for the app showed an upward trend, starting at $3.8K and reaching $4K by March.
Lastly, Pixel Art - Color by Number from Easybrain maintained steady revenue, ranging from around $2.8K to $3.7K. Downloads surged from 25.8K to 34.8K, while weekly active users impressively increased from 425K to 441K, the highest among the top five.
