Duolingo: Language Lessons started the year strong with a peak weekly revenue of around $1.87M in the first week of January. However, revenue gradually declined to approximately $401K by the end of March. Weekly downloads showed a fluctuating pattern, peaking at 132K in mid-March. Active users maintained a steady presence, starting at 2.46M in early January and ending at 2.46M in the last week of March.
Babbel - Learn Languages experienced consistent weekly revenue, starting at around $176K and ending at $132K. Weekly downloads saw a significant spike in mid-February, reaching 56K, before declining to 21K by the end of March. The app’s active user base peaked at 84K in mid-February but gradually decreased to 54K by the end of the quarter.
PictureThis - Plant Identifier showed a remarkable increase in weekly revenue, starting at $47K and reaching $123K by the end of March. Downloads grew steadily, peaking at 33K in the last week of March. Active user numbers also saw a substantial rise, from 212K in early January to 450K by the end of the quarter.
Headway: 15-Min Book Summaries had a peak weekly revenue of about $144K in the first week of January, which declined to around $40K by the end of March. Downloads showed a similar trend, starting at 65K and decreasing to 12K. Active users started at 209K and declined to 89K over the quarter.
ClassDojo maintained a steady weekly revenue, ranging from $43K to $64K, with a slight decline towards the end of March. Weekly downloads were consistent, peaking at 27K in early February before dropping to 18K by the end of March. Active users started the quarter at 1.43M, peaking at 2.22M in early February, and ending the quarter at 1.78M.
