In the first quarter of 2024, the finance category on Android in Italy saw notable performances from several key applications. Here’s a detailed look at the top five apps based on weekly downloads, active users, and revenue trends.
PosteID had a strong start with weekly downloads peaking at around 48K in mid-January. Despite a gradual decline to approximately 27K by the end of March, the app maintained a substantial user base. Weekly active users ranged from 1.4M to 1.7M, with a slight drop towards the end of the quarter.
Postepay also showed significant activity. Weekly downloads were highest in early January at around 38K, stabilizing to about 27K by the end of March. The app's weekly active users remained relatively steady, fluctuating between 1.4M and 1.5M throughout the quarter.
Poste Italiane experienced a peak in weekly downloads at approximately 45K in early January, followed by a consistent decline to around 21K by late March. The app's weekly active users mirrored this trend, starting at 112K and decreasing to about 88K by the end of the quarter.
BancoPosta saw weekly downloads peak at around 35K in early January, with a gradual decline to approximately 20K by the end of March. Weekly active users remained stable, ranging from 1.1M to 1.2M throughout the quarter, with a notable increase mid-quarter.
PayPal - Pay, Send, Save had a consistent performance in weekly downloads, peaking at around 28K in early January and maintaining a range of 22K to 27K throughout the quarter. The app's weekly active users also showed stability, fluctuating between 1.4M and 1.6M, with a slight increase towards the end of March.
