During the first quarter of 2024, the top 5 food delivery apps on the Android platform in Colombia demonstrated varying performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and active users.
DiDi Food: Express Delivery showed consistent weekly download numbers, starting at around 25K at the beginning of January and ending the quarter with approximately 24.3K. The app's weekly active users fluctuated slightly, peaking at nearly 197K in mid-February and closing the quarter at about 186K.
Rappi: Food Delivery, Grocery experienced a steady increase in weekly downloads, beginning at 22.7K in the first week of January and reaching a high of 24.5K by the last week of March. Active users also saw a positive trend, with the app starting the quarter with 618K users and peaking at 785K in late February before stabilizing at 708K towards the end of March.
TaDa Delivery por Bavaria had a more fluctuating download trend, starting at 13.2K and experiencing a low of 3.3K in late February before climbing back up to 6.6K by the end of March. The app’s active users showed a slight decline from 45K at the beginning of the quarter to 32.3K by the end of March.
Comfenalco ValleDelagente Kupi exhibited a highly variable download pattern, beginning with 5.5K downloads in early January, dropping to as low as 964 in mid-March, and ending the quarter with 2.2K downloads.
Pideky saw moderate download numbers throughout the quarter. Starting with 1.6K in the first week of January, it experienced peaks and troughs, reaching up to 3.7K in late March.
