In the first quarter of 2024, the hypercasual gaming scene on the Android platform in the Netherlands saw interesting trends among its top 5 games. Here's a detailed look at their performance:
Block Blast! from Hungry Studio experienced a varied quarter in terms of downloads and active users. Weekly downloads peaked at approximately 16.9K in mid-February but saw a decline towards the end of March, reaching 5.4K. Active users started at around 68.3K and increased to a high of 77.9K by mid-February, before dropping to 60.7K by the end of the quarter.
Build A Queen from Supersonic Studios LTD showed a steady increase in both downloads and active users. Weekly downloads reached a peak of 8.8K in mid-February, while active users grew from 29.8K at the beginning of January to 36.5K by mid-March. Revenue, although minimal, showed some activity with peaks of up to $10 in early March.
Help Me: Tricky Story by ABI Game Studio had a strong start in weekly downloads, peaking at 10.7K in mid-January but gradually declined to around 3.4K by the end of March. Active users saw a significant rise from 5.7K at the beginning of January to 28K by the end of the month, maintaining a relatively stable number around 26K through March.
Wood Screw Puzzle from Zego Studio showed consistent growth in weekly revenue, starting at $28 in early January and reaching up to $554 by the end of March. Downloads and active users also saw positive trends, with downloads peaking at 5.9K in mid-March and active users rising from 6.2K at the start of January to 18.7K by mid-March before settling at 16K at the end of the quarter.
Snake Clash! by Supercent, Inc. experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads and active users. Downloads peaked at 11.9K in mid-March, while active users rose from 13K at the beginning of January to a high of 28.1K by mid-March. Revenue also saw a steady increase, reaching $144 in the last week of March.
