In the first quarter of 2024, the insurance app market in Algeria showed varied performance across the top five Android applications. Data from Sensor Tower reveals key insights into weekly downloads and active users for these apps.
My Amana from Amana Digital saw its weekly downloads fluctuate throughout the quarter. Starting with 168 downloads in the first week of January, it peaked at 203 in the week of January 22, and then gradually declined to 97 downloads by the end of March.
Compte ameli maintained a more consistent performance. The app started with 98 weekly downloads, reaching a high of 130 in the last week of January and ending the quarter at 58 downloads. Active users for Compte ameli showed a slight decline from 842 in the first week to 766 by the end of March.
AXA mobile banking experienced a decrease in weekly downloads over the quarter. The app started strong with 130 downloads in the first week of January, but this number dropped to 36 by the last week of March. Active users, however, remained relatively stable, hovering around the 350-400 range.
MyAlliance exhibited a gradual increase in downloads towards the end of the quarter. Starting with 19 weekly downloads, the app reached a peak of 35 downloads in the final week of March, indicating a positive trend.
Lastly, MyAXA Egypt had minimal activity in terms of downloads, with numbers fluctuating between 0 and 24 throughout January and February, highlighting a less active user base.
