The first quarter of 2024 saw significant activity in the Mobile Online Battle Arena (MOBA) category on the Android platform in Italy. Here's a detailed look at the performance of the top 5 MOBA applications, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Brawl Stars from Supercell experienced a remarkable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $477K in the last week of March. Weekly downloads also showed a consistent upward trend, starting from 24.5K in early January and reaching 45K by the end of March. The game maintained a solid user base with weekly active users increasing from 1.97M to 4.65M over the quarter.
Pokémon UNITE from The Pokémon Company had a more modest revenue performance, with a peak of around $3.4K in the final week of February. Weekly downloads saw a noticeable spike, from 2.3K in early January to 4.6K in the same week. Active users showed a gradual increase from 17.9K to 20.3K by the end of the quarter.
Box Simulator for Brawl Stars by DEHA did not generate revenue but saw a steady rise in weekly downloads, starting at 765 in the first week of January and climbing to 3.6K by the end of March. Weekly active users also increased, from 1.5K to 5.7K.
Mobile Legends: Bang Bang by Moonton showed a consistent revenue flow, peaking at approximately $19.9K in the last week of March. Downloads fluctuated, with a peak of 3.1K in the last week of February. Active users saw some variation but ended the quarter with around 22K users.
League of Legends: Wild Rift from Riot Games, Inc had a steady revenue stream, peaking at $18.4K in mid-January. Downloads remained relatively stable, with a slight peak of 1.2K in early March. Active users varied slightly but stayed around an average of 11K throughout the quarter.
