The first quarter of 2024 has been an interesting period for poker games on the Android platform in Nigeria. We analyzed the top 5 poker apps, examining their weekly downloads, revenue, and active user trends. Here are the key insights:
WSOP Poker: Texas Holdem Game from Playtika saw notable fluctuations in its weekly revenue, peaking at around $160 in mid-March. Weekly downloads showed a steady increase, reaching 834K in mid-February before stabilizing around 712K by the end of March. Active users followed a similar upward trend, starting at 945 and peaking at 2.4K in late March.
Texas Hold'em Poker: Pokerist by KamaGames experienced a varied revenue stream, with notable peaks at $117K in late February and $106K in mid-March. Downloads surged towards the end of the quarter, reaching 336K in late March. Active users also saw significant growth, peaking at 1.2K in the last week of March.
Video Poker by Pokerist, another offering from KamaGames, had a modest revenue performance, peaking at $8 in mid-February. Downloads, however, showed a sharp increase, culminating in 385K by the end of March. Active users also increased, reaching 163 by the last week of the quarter.
Poker Offline from Zmist Games had minimal revenue but maintained a consistent download rate, peaking at 195K in mid-January and stabilizing around 106K by the end of March. Active users saw a slight dip mid-quarter but recovered to 611 by the end of March.
PokerGaga: Texas Holdem Live by Onecent Technology had a mixed performance. Revenue remained relatively stable throughout the quarter, peaking at $32 in late February. Downloads fluctuated significantly, with a notable peak of 260K in early March. Active users saw a decline towards the end of the quarter, dropping to 485 by the last week of March.
