Australian shoppers have been actively engaging with their favorite Android shopping apps in the first quarter of 2024. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, highlights the trends in downloads and weekly active users for these applications.
Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire started the quarter with downloads at 63K and saw a steady increase, finishing off at around 76K. The app's weekly active users also showed an upward trend, beginning at approximately 631K and climbing to over 823K by the end of the quarter.
SHEIN-Shopping Online experienced fluctuating download numbers, peaking at 25K before dropping to around 15K, and then rising back up to roughly 25K again. The weekly active users for SHEIN showed a slight increase, starting at nearly 298K and ending the quarter with over 324K.
Everyday Rewards maintained a steady growth in downloads, kicking off at 12K and reaching over 17K, with a slight dip to around 13K in the last week. The app's active users saw a peak at 469K before a slight decrease to 424K by quarter's end.
The Woolworths app downloads began at about 7K, had a mid-quarter spike to 11K, and leveled off at 10K. Weekly active users remained fairly constant, hovering around 150K throughout the quarter.
Lastly, Flybuys downloads saw a high point of 11K midway through the quarter but ended slightly lower at 7K. Active users started strong at 179K, reached a high of 191K, and concluded the quarter with 185K.
