Simulator games continue to engage audiences on Android platforms, and Sensor Tower provides a comprehensive glimpse into their performance in the first quarter of 2024 in the United States. Here's a look at how the top five simulator games fared.
BitLife - Life Simulator, from Candywriter, LLC, saw its revenue fluctuate, starting at around $85K and peaking at $96K in mid-March before settling near $73K by the end of March. Downloads for the game showed a steady increase from 24K to over 52K, while weekly active users varied, peaking at 925K in the second week of March.
Archosaur Games' Life Makeover demonstrated a revenue peak of $33K in late February, with other weeks averaging around $18K. Downloads maintained a modest pace, ranging between 1.4K and 2.8K, and active users saw a slight uptick from 9.5K to 10.5K.
The Wolf, by Swift Apps LTD, had its revenue hovering between $6.5K and $20.6K, with the highest spike in late January. Downloads saw a peak of 7.2K in the same month, while weekly active users experienced their highest at 17K, also in January.
ShimmerGames' Rent Please!-Landlord Sim showed a consistent revenue pattern, ranging from $13K to $17K. Downloads stayed in the range of 5.2K to 7.2K, and the game maintained a solid base of weekly active users, starting at 165K and slightly declining to 156K.
Lastly, EVA Character AI & AI Friend from Novi Limited, had revenues that were relatively stable, with a minor dip to $15.8K at the end of March from a high of $18.3K in late February. Downloads began at 9.1K, saw a mid-quarter rise, and then ended at 6.9K. Weekly active users started at 9.4K and dipped to 8.8K by the quarter's close.
