In the first quarter of 2024, the superhero game genre on the Android platform in the United States showcased dynamic trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a detailed look at the performance of the top 5 superhero games, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Spider Fighting: Hero Game by Zego Studio saw its weekly downloads fluctuate, starting strong with approximately 61.6K in the first week of January and dipping to around 32.8K by the end of February. However, downloads rebounded to 40.9K in the final week of March. Active users exhibited a consistent upward trend, climbing from 269.7K to 348.4K over the quarter.
The Superhero League from Lion Studios experienced steady weekly revenue, peaking at about $400 in mid-March. Downloads saw a significant increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching approximately 44.2K in the last week of March, while active users also saw a notable rise, peaking at 145.9K in the same period.
Spider Fighter 3: Hero Game, published by Starplay DMCC, maintained a consistent download rate, with weekly downloads ranging from 26.2K to 31.6K. Revenue showed a gradual increase, peaking at around $298 in mid-March. The game’s active user base grew steadily, ending the quarter with approximately 78.4K users.
One Punch Man World by Crunchyroll Games, LLC, demonstrated a strong start in late January with approximately 207.3K downloads in its initial week. However, downloads declined to around 5.8K by the end of March. Revenue also saw a significant drop from $70K in early February to approximately $4.7K by late March. Active users followed a similar trend, decreasing from 168.3K to 19.9K throughout the quarter.
MARVEL Strike Force: Squad RPG by Scopely had a robust revenue stream, maintaining weekly earnings around the $450K mark, peaking at approximately $537K in mid-January. Weekly downloads were relatively stable, with a slight peak of around 41K in mid-January. The game’s active users remained strong, averaging around 100K throughout the quarter.
