In the first quarter of 2024, the US Android platform saw varying performances among the top tycoon games. Data from Sensor Tower offers a clear view of how each game fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users.
Township by Playrix started the quarter with approximately $1.7M in revenue and saw a mid-quarter peak at around $2.2M, before stabilizing at roughly $1.5M. Downloads showed a slight decline from 78K to around 53K, while weekly active users had a high of 696K in late January, dipping to about 652K by the quarter's end.
Melsoft Games Ltd's Family Island™ — Farming game generated revenue fluctuating between $570K and $670K before settling at about $590K. Downloads decreased from 40K to just under 20K, and weekly active users saw a gradual decline from 128K to 95K.
Klondike Adventures: Farm Game from VIZOR APPS LTD. showed a revenue trend that rose from around $416K to a high of $592K and then slightly decreased to $564K. Downloads peaked at 63K in late January, with a noticeable drop to 48K by March's end. Active users increased from 104K to 128K, indicating a growing player base.
LIFE IS A GAME LIMITED's Last Fortress: Underground saw its revenue hover around the $300K mark throughout the quarter, with downloads peaking at 6K in early March but generally remaining below 4K. Active user count started at 63K, experienced a slight rise, and then dropped to around 49K.
Hay Day by Supercell maintained a stable revenue stream, with figures starting at $313K and ending at $240K. Downloads remained modest, ranging from 15K to under 10K, while weekly active users showed a rising trend from 303K to 347K.
