Zombie games continue to captivate audiences in the United States, and the first quarter of 2024 has seen varying performances among the top contenders on the Android platform. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers a glimpse into how these games have fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
Last War:Survival Game from FirstFun started the quarter with revenues of approximately $536K and saw a significant upward trend, ending March on a high note at around $2.46M. Downloads, however, declined from 118K in the first week to 62K by the end of March, while weekly active users peaked at 281K in early March before settling at about 237K.
37GAMES' title Puzzles & Survival also experienced growth in revenue, starting at $547K and reaching $766K mid-March, before slightly dipping to $692K. Downloads saw a gradual decrease from 37K to around 22K, with weekly active users showing a similar downtrend from 92K to 78K.
CamelStudio's Age of Origins showed a steadier revenue pattern, beginning at just under $492K and oscillating throughout the quarter to end at around $493K. Downloads dipped from 26K to 15K, while weekly active users saw a slight increase from 69K to 53K by quarter's end.
Last Shelter: Survival by Long Tech Network Limited had a varied revenue trend, with a peak of $625K in late January, but a general decrease was observed, concluding the quarter at $361K. Downloads remained low, with a starting point of around 3K and a slight increase to just under 2K. Weekly active users remained fairly stable, hovering around 28K to 30K.
Finally, FunPlus International AG's State of Survival: Zombie War began the quarter with a revenue of $437K and saw fluctuations, ending on a consistent note at $388K. Downloads started at 7K and showed a surprising spike to 17K towards the end of March. Weekly active users remained relatively stable with a slight increase from 178K to 189K.
