In the first quarter of 2024, the dating app scene on iOS in Latin America has shown varying performance trends according to the latest data from Sensor Tower. Here's how the top five dating apps have fared:
Tinder: Chat, Dating & Friends maintained a strong presence with revenue peaking at nearly $543K in mid-March, while downloads fluctuated around the 80K mark. Weekly active users showed a slight decline from 1.6M to just under 1.6M by the end of the quarter.
Bumble Dating App: Meet & Date experienced a revenue increase, ending March with over $267K. Downloads saw a notable jump to around 45K in the last week of March, and weekly active users climbed to over 324K, indicating a growing user base.
Grindr - Gay Dating & Chat saw a consistent revenue around the $100K mark throughout the quarter, with a slight uptick in the last week to over $107K. Downloads remained fairly stable, with a slight increase to over 17K, and weekly active users hovered around the 360K range.
Inner Circle: Dating Community showed a steady revenue growth, ending the quarter at around $64K. Downloads were variable but ended the quarter at over 16K. Weekly active users saw a modest increase from 89K to nearly 89K.
Badoo: Dating. Chat. Friends reported revenues close to $57K by late March. Downloads saw a slight decline to around 27K, while weekly active users remained relatively stable, ending at over 613K.
